SUCCESSFULLY CONCLUDED SRI LANKA VIRTUAL MICE EXPO 2021

The Sri Lanka Convention Bureau (SLCB) organized the event from 1st – 3rd December 2021 in collaboration with the SLAPCEO.

The virtual exhibition showcased over 70 stalls; four business forums for the Meetings/Conference, Exhibitions, Wedding & Incentive organizers; Meet in Sri Lanka video collection; launch of green events initiatives at Water’s Edge; Dilmah virtual tea experience conducted by Dilmah and also the Sri Lanka culinary experience by Dr. Pabilis Silva of Mount Lavina Hotel; Virtual Wellness experience by Spa Ceylon and a Master MICE challenge quiz competition. BMICH was the Principal Sponsor of the event along with Waters Edge as Co-Sponsor.

Speaking at the event, Kimarli Fernando urged SLCB and SLAPCEO to continue this event as a physical event in 2022 with the objective of making ‘Sri Lanka a Gateway to South Asian Meetings & Events Industry’. The four business forums provided the expertise and knowledge to the industry to position Sri Lanka as a top MICE destination in Asia.
