REGISTRATION OF DESTINATION EVENT MANAGEMENT COMPANIES (DEMC) UNDER SLTDA

After continuous follow-ups and meetings, SLAPCEO was able to successfully gazette the registration of Destination Event Management Companies (DEMC) under SLTDA.

The main objective is to recognize the Destination Event Management Companies in Sri Lanka and absorb them into the formal registration process under SLTDA.  Also, this will enable the MICE Operators to apply for hotel commissions, etc like travel agents when handling events.
